If I am not mistaken, the heir apparent to Lawrence Gonzi’s throne, Simon Busuttil, had said that the PN’s door is open to all, including those dissidents in the former PN parliamentary group.
Reading the PN’s reaction to Franco Debono’s appointment by the new PL Government, calling it “an insult” and a “divisive” decision, it seems that the PN’s door has already been shut in Debono’s face.
This reaction doesn’t augur well for any change in the PN’s way of doing politics.
