BELLIA. On March 24, JEANNETTE, widow of Joseph, born in Floriana, residing in Gżira, passed away unexpectedly. She leaves to mourn her loss her only child Mary Jane Mamo, her sister Agatha Monaco, and grandsons Konrad, Gabriel, Edward, Isaac and Raphael and their respective partners, her brothers Marcel, Ivan and Victor, and their families, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Gżira parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be held at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Adolorata Cemetery. CARUANA SCICLUNA. On March 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, Dr JOSEPH CARUANA SCICLUNA, aged 59, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Anna née Eynaud, his sons Mark and Andrew, his brothers Noel and his wife Rose, and Adrian, his sisters Anna, wife of John Scerri, Ina, wife of Joe Grech and Edna, wife of Stephen Curmi, his mother-in-law Lucia Eynaud, his brothers-in-law Prof. Joseph Eynaud and his wife Carmen and Charles Eynaud and his wife Carmen, his aunts, uncle, cousins, other relatives, numerous friends and colleagues. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9am for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares, Mater Dei Hospital, will be greatly appreciated. Special thanks to the medical staff and nurses in the cardiac wards and ITU. PORTELLI. On March 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, JULIET of Ħamrun, residing at Sa Maison Home for the elderly, Pietà, aged 90, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children John and his wife Mary, Emanuel and his wife Josephine, Tessie and her husband Joseph Micallef, Edwin, Arthur and his wife Monica, and Victor, her in-laws Mary and Melina and their families, nephews, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 7.45am for the Immaculate Conception parish church, Ħamrun, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.15am, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
