Over 500 children attending Church primary schools last Monday took part in a pilgrimage to Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary to mark the Year of Faith. The pilgrimage was animated by Fr Effie Masini, the Bishop’s delegate for education. At the sanctuary, a special celebration was led by Mgr Carmel Gauci, head of the Bishop’s Conservatory Primary School, while Bishop Mario Grech led the prayers. Mgr Grech presented a lantern to each school as a symbol of faith.
