In court over assault
Ahmad Ilewi, a 32-year-old Syrian resident in Marsalforn, was granted bail against a €3,000 guarantee after he was accused in the Gozo court of having assaulted and injured a man in Victoria, Gozo, early yesterday.
The incident happened at about 7.30 a.m.
Inspector F Tabone prosecuted.
