• The Muppets will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.

• Canon John Muscat will be installed as parish priest of Fontana today during Mass at 10.30am. The Chorus Urbanus will take part.

• The Way of the Cross will be held from Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary to Għammar Hill today at 6pm.

• The Arco Ensemble will give a concert of sacred music with soprano Rosabelle Pavia and her students at the Capuchin’s church in Victoria today at 6pm.

• The feast of St Joseph will be celebrated in Qala on Tuesday. Bishop Mario Grech will lead a concelebrated Mass at 6pm.

• The Għaqda Drammatika Għajnsielem and Għajnsielem council will present the passion play The Accusation (L-Akkuża) at Independence Square, Għajnsielem, next Sunday at 7.30pm. JoAnne Debrincat will direct a cast of around 40 actors. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Gaulitana: A Festival of Music will be held between Thursday and May 3. The festival opens with an organ recital by British organist Robin Walker at St Augustine church, Victoria, at 7.30pm. The second concert will be held next Sunday, Palm Sunday, at the Bishop’s Curia Hall in Victoria at 7.30pm. The recital will feature the Gaudos Duo, made up of Hungarian husband-and-wife violinists David Lang and Emese Toth. Entrance for both concerts is free.

• The abstract exhibition Colours and Vibrations by French artist Colette Marchant will be held at the Citadel’s St Ursula Hall, Victoria, between Saturday and April 14. It will be open daily from 10am to 4pm and Sundays from 11am to 3pm. For more information, call 7984 8990.

• The feast of Our Lady of Sorrows will be celebrated at St James church in Victoria on Friday. Masses will be held every half an hour between 6am and 1pm.

Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass on the church parvis at 6pm, followed by a penitential procession with the statue of Our Lady .

• Qalb Claudia Ħebritha, a Passion play by the Mnarja Drama Group, will be staged at MBC Theatre in Xewkija on next Sunday at 4pm. For more information, call 7925 1695.

• Spiritual exercises for children by deacon Gabriel Gauci will be held at St George’s parish centre in Victoria from tomorrow to Thursday at 4.15pm, while Lenten talks for all by Mgr Noel Saliba and for youths by Fr Joseph Curmi will be held at Xagħra parish church from tomorrow to Thursday at 7.15pm and 8pm respectively.

• The La Stella Band will give a sacred concert at St George’s Basilica, Victoria, on Saturday at 8pm, with the participation of the Laudate Pueri choir.

• A concert by the Schola Cantorum Jubilate, entitled Crucifixus, will be held at Our Lady of Victory parish church in Xagħra on Saturday at 7.30pm.
