Wind and waves batter coast

The gale force westerly winds continued to roar today as waves battered the seashore.

The day was bitingly cold but there were pockets of sunshine in between the stretches of rain and hail.

The wind and weather conditions should improve tomorrow as an anticyclone over Algeria will move over to Libya.

You definitely stand to be corrected about your last assertion!!!!! Sea spray with winds this strong just covers the whole island from one side to the other!
