Fund industry professionals will gather at the third Annual Malta Spring Fund Conference today and tomorrow to discuss the latest implications for funds, managers and service providers.
Organised by The European and Swiss Network of Asset and Fund Managers and co-sponsored by Abacus Fund Administration, the event will be held at Westin Resort, St Julian’s.
Participants will reflect on the high regulatory expectations associated with implementing the Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS IV), Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD) and Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II). With tightening regulatory environments prevailing in Europe and the US, many leading financial jurisdictions are facing uncertainties about how their domestic markets will react to anticipated changes which are being implemented.
Abacus Fund Administration managing director Paul Kneen, director Garry Crossan and general manager Mario Psaila will be representing the Isle of Man fiduciary and fund services specialists, embracing more than 30 years’ experience.
