VERY WELL SAID ! ....... besides SIXTY-FIVE MPs are aleady more than enough .

Albert Bezzina

Mar 12th, 17:50

San Marino (with one MP for every 529 citizens), The Principality of Monaco (with one MP for every 1485) are the only States with a smaller population number per member of parliament than Malta. Malta One MP for every 6087 citizens

Jo Meli

Mar 12th, 11:30

It is the FIRST preferance that count Jean-Michel, having said so I SHARE your dismay.

M. Mifsud

Mar 12th, 11:35

@ Jean-Michel Azzopardi

Ibqghu oholmu Sur Azzopardi. Ibqghu oholmu.

M Fava

Mar 12th, 15:15

Well that would mean sacking the elected PL candidates which is not very democratics on both voter and MP, is it?

A.M. Galea

Mar 12th, 09:44

Mr Galea & Mr Micallef , are you still asleep this morning ? Can you tell from where did you get this idea ? If you look properly there is no such thing in this report .

Joseph Galea

Mar 11th, 22:08

Very relevant post Marco Zammit.

N Mifsud

Mar 11th, 16:26

Yes probably heading NSO where he belongs!

mark borg

Mar 11th, 21:50

Profs Scicluna will be elected do not worry

John L Galea

Mar 12th, 07:33

He was elected, so what is the disappointment? He should be the new finance minister.

Heading the NSO should be done by a more competent person than the one there is now.

Carmel Ellul

Mar 11th, 13:48

Same here , because this man can deliver and he means business.

Angelo Polidano

Mar 11th, 17:08

and honest

Gordon Farrugia

Mar 12th, 09:02

hope so because it is hard to find anyone in your camp that is 100% honest. We saw Busuttil saying lies one after the other, even De Marco isn't fully credible.

Lynn Zahra

Mar 12th, 09:22

Chris Said wouldn't lift a finger to when asked for a little help by a PL supporter. His attitude would ensure the PN will remain stuck where it is today.

Charles Mizzi

Mar 12th, 10:46

The P.N leader must be from outside the party.

Francesca Abela

Mar 12th, 15:14

Chris Said would not bring back the lost sheep to the PN - they need someone new not associated with the past administration. Chris Said is known to be vindictive if people dont agree with him.

M Fava

Mar 12th, 15:21

I agree even though I supported PL this campaign. I was very keen on having Simon Busuttil as Deputy Leader but I found him to be a huge let down from the hard-working and completely non-arrogant MEP he was. Had he retained those values, PN would definitely make huge progress. Having said that, I think Chris Said is very able to lead.

Joseph Galea

Mar 11th, 22:11

int min int Sarah Galea biex titkellem f"isem id-Dinglin ?

M Fava

Mar 12th, 15:23

Lighten up, Sur Joseph! Anyone would congratulate Ian on such a remarkable achievement.

J Martinelli

Mar 11th, 22:43

Konrad needs to find the 400 ships first to get the gas here & build two tanks on weak rubble to store it.
Apparently the money is in place, and Joseph sees no need for EIAs or permit nonsense. Now MEPA will look the other way because Malta's youngest PM since Independence, says so. Who needs public tenders anyway? The EU will be so impressed!
Two years or he goes, he said. Yes and I'm King Tut.

Thomas Anderson

Mar 12th, 08:51

J Martinelli PL is here to stay the whole five years with your stupid comments or not. Yes Labour are going for it but unlike others who went for it and lost big time, PL will succeed.
As for you being King Tut I suggest that you have a break.

Mr ALBERT LEONE GANADO

Mar 12th, 09:25

First thing that needs to be done is to take stock of the current works in progress and their real state.. One needs only a cursory look round the island to see long overdue incomplete projects despite a last minute PN rush to try to impress, We have before we start the clock on new energy projects tosee the real state of the overdue commissioning and decommissioning of plants and interconnector.

James Vella

Mar 11th, 12:47

I fully share your views. yes Chis Said should be given the chance

N Mifsud

Mar 11th, 16:31

Gozo does not even deserve to have a minister anymore let alone a PN Leader! Shame on you Gozitans - You just deserve to be isolated again as you were back in the 80s!!!!

Gordon Farrugia

Mar 12th, 09:03

'Shame on you Gozitans - You just deserve to be isolated again as you were back in the 80s!!!!''

Keep it up. Gozitans you are welcome in the Labour party and we will do our best to serve you.

M Fava

You are so disrespectful. Is this the Malta Taghna Lkoll that PN have claimed they were the triggers of (jekk rajt in-NET il-bierah taf ghalxiex qed nghid)? Malta Taghna Lkoll jekk tivvota lill-PN biss qisu. Imissek tisthi. Mill-garigori ta' mohhok mhux qed jghaddi hsieb li hemm xi haga vera hazina biex Ghawdex rebhu l-PL? Arroganza wahdek.

Mar 11th, 11:35

I am a Gozitan and am not ashamed. Mr Sultana, all that glitters is not gold!! Gozo and the Gozitans had been forgotten by the PN as much as, if not more than, their Maltese brethren.

N Caruana

Mar 11th, 11:59

Mr Sultana, why don't you be real?? Gozo is the least to talk negative about PN!! a lot of work was done there but for some people that's not enough and for a lot of people it's never enough!! always expecting more.. we'll wait and see now what life is going to be like. Lets hope for the best!

Well-educated? Interesting!! Seems your education failed to teach you the difference between 'want it' and 'wanted' and, even better, the difference between 'massage' and 'message'!!!!!!!!!!!!! Although, I do agree with you that Gonzi must need a very good massage to relax after all the stress and hard work!

Rebecca Bartolo

Mar 11th, 13:02

Jisthu ghala ezatt? Mr.Galea, the negative campaign didn't work for the pn. Don't continue with the same old record, accept that Gonzipn suffered a massive lose with phrases like 'tkun laburist tisthi , tkun nazzjonalist , tkun kburi', Dan kliem ta pm? Gozo wants more, and we'll give it more ! Our new primeminister preaches for us to unite and work together. Maybe you should try that out !

It sems a little harsh being crirical of someones errors in writting English more so when it's someone who uses two languages. I am English I was brought up English and still make mistakes in grammer. I was at Tal Handaq many years ago and could never understand why Maltese was taught. I lived for 3 years in Malta (as a child ) I return to Malta as much as I can. I can't write a word of Maltese
