A short introductory course in marine biology, open to the public, will be held from March 20 to May 25, organised by the University’s Department of Biology.

The course covers topics such as the general characteristics of the marine environment and the Mediterranean Sea; shore and underwater habitats; marine pollution; fish, cetaceans and turtles; aquaculture and fisheries; and marine conservation.

It will consist of 14 hours of lectures held between 6 and 8pm, and two practical sessions held on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm.
