Prime Meat to open 12th shop

Meat processor Prime Ltd will soon open a new shop in Fgura, bring-ing the total number of outlets under its umbrella to 12. The company, established since the early 1960s, has become a household name.

Prime Meat Shops is a subsidiary of Prime Ltd, based in Marsa. The brand’s product range includes sandwich ham, low-fat ham and a variety of cooked meats, bacon and sausages.

The company will be extending its range to include a wider variety of delicatessen products.

Prime Meat specialises in fresh meats, including pork, beef, veal, chicken and rabbit, together with a variety of other ready-prepared products.

Company director James Muscat said: “With the addition of the new outlet in Fgura, the success story of the Prime Meat Shop chain will continue to flourish. The high level of service, convenience and good value for money are main factors that contribute to this success.”

Prime Meat Shops will also be embarking on a series of activities to promote its products, including a collection of original recipes by James Muscat, shop promotions, seminars and lectures and the distribution of recipe cards, focusing on easy-to-prepare, low-fat meals.

Other Prime Meat outlets can be found in Marsa, Qormi, Sliema, Paola, Żejtun, Naxxar, St Paul’s Bay, Mellieħa, Qawra and Għajnsielem.
