The government and St Augustine's College have reached an agreement whereby the college will temporarily use a state school in Marsa as its primary school until new premises are completed in Pieta'.

The new primary school is to be housed in the former Medical School, located between the college and St Luke's Hospital. But until the conversion work is completed, St Augustine's College will use a school building in Marsa.

The Curia said that as a result of the agreement, St Augustine's will be able to immediately receive 75 pupils in the first year of its primary school and another 75 in Year IV, joining the pupils in Years II and III.

Entry will be according to the church rules, but parents who did not apply will be able to do so on March 14 between 9am and noon at the college. The rules can be viewed at www.maltadiocese.org
