By not voting on Saturday one would be allowing those who had run over them to do so yet again, Labour, leader Joseph Muscat said this morning.

Speaking during an interview on One Radio he said those who wanted a change in direction and wanted injustices fixed without new ones being created should vote for Labour.

He called on supporters to help the party not by sounding their horns but by continuing to convince people.

Dr Muscat said that the movement had never enjoyed young people’s enthusiasm as much as today. This was due to the fact that youths had been placed at the centre of the campaign by being the protagonists, rather than spectators.

This campaign, Dr Muscat said, was completely different from previous ones because it was totally positive.

Contrary to the PN, the PL did not have just one negative billboard. The movement had put aside the politics of the past where a party promised one more than the other.

The PL was only proposing what was factual and what it could implement and it would not come after the election and make excuses for not implementing its promises.

The PM was already taking the people for a ride and had said he would find a solution to services pensions at the beginning of the campaign only to change his version later.

Later, Dr Muscat visited the Intercontinental Hotel in St Julian’s.
