Zaren Bonnici ta' l-ajkla took his message to Gozo yesterday, holding a mass meeting at St Augustine Square in Victoria. It was nowhere as big as his meetings in Malta, but still attracted several hundred people.

The backdrop of the speaker's platform was two power station chimneys, reinforcing his promises for a new power station which will use sea water.

Mr Bonnici will only be a candidate on the second district.
