• A day-long adoration to pray for vocations to the priestly and religious life will be held on Thursday at the Archbishop’s Seminary, Tal-Virtù, Rabat. It starts with Mass at 9.30am, continues with adoration for the rest of the day and concludes with another Mass to be celebrated at 7.15pm in which seminarians will also participate.

• On International Women’s Day, the National Council of Women, in conjunction with its affiliated organisations, is organising a special Mass celebrated by Fr Joe Cini, SDB, at St Patrick’s church, St John Bosco Street, Sliema, on Thursday at 6.30pm.

• Lenten talks on the theme “I do believe; help my unbelief.” (Mk 9:24) will be held at the Oratory of the Missionary Society of St Paul, Birkirkara, from March 11 to 15 at 7.15pm. During the week, Fr Martin Cilia MSSP will unravel the mysteries and explore the truths of the Catholic faith. All are welcome. A child minding facility will be available.

• The following retreats will be held at Manresa Retreat House, Victoria:

Fr Robert Soler, SJ, will direct a retreat for married couples from March 15 to 17;

Fr Beniamino Guidotti, SJ, will direct a retreat from March 22 to 26 for people in the professional sector to reflect and pray about their life of faith.
