Labour leader Joseph Muscat this morning visited the Institute for Tourism studies, meeting students and teachers.

He toured the kitchens where students were busy putting into practice what they had learnt in theory.

Following the tour, during which he was accompanied by Small Businesses Minister Jason Azzopardi, Dr Muscat spoke about the need of more investment at the institute which was serving such an important pillar of the Maltese economy.

He said Labour believed in the internationalisation of ITS to be able to attract more foreigners to study in Malta. Its capacity at the time being was very limited.
