The Bishops of Malta and Gozo will lead concelebrated Mass next Wednesday in thanksgiving for the service of Pope Benedict XVI.

During the Mass, prayers will be said for the Lord's guidance in the election of a new Pope. 

The Mass will be followed by adoration.

Masses of thanksgiving for Benedict's papacy will also be held in all churches in Malta and Gozo. 

Masses will also e held before the conclave of cardinals starts.
