Voters who are going to be abroad on Election Day and want to vote have until noon on Friday to make a declaration before an Electoral Commissioner.

This can be done at the Office of the Electoral Commission, Evans Building, St Elmo Square, Valletta, or at the Identity Cards Office, St Francis Square, Victoria, from today until Thursday from 8am to 2pm and 3pm to 7pm and on Friday from 8am to noon.

ID cards must be presented.

Voters who have lost, damaged or destroyed their voting document or who have not yet received it even though their name appears on the electoral register published in January, can apply in person for a special voting document to one of the electoral commissioners.

Office hours are: Monday to Saturday from 8am to 2pm and 3 to 7pm, and on Sunday from 8am to 1pm; on March 6 (last day) from 8am to 2 pm and from 3 to 9pm for the general election and from 8am to 2pm and 3 to 6pm for local elections.

Voters registered in the 13th electoral district (Gozo and Comino) can call at the Identity Cards Office, Victoria, during the same office hours.
