Air Malta will once again operate weekly charter flights to/from seven regional UK airports this summer.

Between May and October, the national carrier will fly to/from Birmingham and Cardiff on Tuesdays and Fridays.

It will also operate weekly flights to/from Bristol, Exeter, Newcastle, Norwich and Glasgow on Tuesdays.

As well as meeting demand from UK tourists, Air Malta said these flights attract interest from Maltese visiting family and friends around the UK.

Air Malta chief commercial officer Philip Saunders said: “Air Malta is building on its position in the UK as a leader in the market to Malta.”

These charter services supplement regular scheduled services to/from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester.
