Man accused of Sliema hold-up

Daniel Callus 21 of Ħamrun has been remanded in custody after having been accused in court today of stealing several items from a Sliema shop and injuring the shopkeeper during a hold-up.

The incident happened on Friday.

He was also accused of carrying a firearm or imitation firearm and breaking the conditions of a previous release.

He pleaded not guilty and was remanded in custody.
