JOe admit that he knew all of the 'drug case'
So , he is completely P;OITIVALLY IRRIESPONSIBLE , NOT POLITICALLY CREDIIBLE,
JOEY SHOULD CONSIDER HIS UNTENABLE POSITION AS POL LEADER.

so should Gonzi resign too? He's far more than irresponsable, not credible ans selfish. He was being honest, we could see that!! as a floating voter, and many people who are in my position... we should give our vote to Joseph Muscat!! lets get rid of this arrogant PN party

As Abraham Maslow puts it "If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail." . Gonzipn's only strategy is to discredit their adversary and their only way is to sow doubt. No wander their negative campaign. Do we need more of Gonzipn problems and alienation? Ministers forgetting important things like bank accounts in switzerland and gifts???

Drugs in Malta are everywhere. Go to a village festa especially in he Kazini and you will see. Everyone knows this and also the police obviously, but still nothing is done. In all clubs (Kazini) both those of PN and if you go to particular ones, and even those of the PL you will find abusers. So the very shallow attempt of the PN to try to implicate that JM or TA are drug dealers is pathetic

Feb 24th, 23:39
pathetic is your comment John. Drug abuse and especially drug trafficking like what was covered up by Abela and Muscat should always be reported to to the police !! Defending and covering up for a crime makes you an accomplace to the same crime.... why is it so hard for you people to understand?

Feb 25th, 08:26
If you know all this why don't you report it to the police? Are you ready to allow youths' lives to be destroyed by drugs?

Hija hasra li l-Partit Laburista waqa fin-nasba tal-PN. Il-Partit Nazzjonalista wera bic-car li ma ghandu xejn x'jofri u ma ghamel l-ebda proposta sura fil-gimaght li ghaddew. Min flok hela hin jattaka il-PL. Il-PL ghandu ikompli bil-kampanja li beda u iwassal li messag tieghhu ghal gejjini ta Malta.

Joseph has the courage of his convictions, he is not afraid of admitting any mistakes he or his party has done. This is humility and sincerity at its best, two values that define great men.

And what about Anglu Farrugia ?? A true case of two weights and two measures as always by your leader..
With JM's admission, both Toni Abela and himself should tender their resignation and not as he tried to say that the blame should be shouldered by Toni Abela alone !!!

DRUGS are all over in the maltese islands and the police know this but they don't have the right tools to fight this war.If you go to the police with something they just tell you if you have the proof, NO the police won't move if they don't have any witness couse they are afraid of these drug traffackers. GIVE THE POLICE THE RIGHT TOOLS AND STRENGHT IF YOU WANT THEM TO DO THEIR JOB.

Another mistake... Oh oh . Will he manage the country by trial and error? JM should answer just one simple question. What would have happened if he had managed to convince us to stay out of EU? Where would Malta be now? He cannot run away scott free from this. What would have been the price of his mistake? What will be the price of future mistakes? PN can boast of getting the crucial things right

speaking of lies than Prim minister LG knows very well how, several lies were told by him and yet 1 "supposedly" lie from JM makes him a lier and not capable of running a country whatsoever. The Right action was taking and the PL did fire out that Barman which him self was saying that that block was ice not drug. JM just repeted what the BM said. This BM is now sheltered in the PN and given a job

It seems that many people are alleged to be involved in this mess! I find that somewhat disappointing...

@ A PACE
Your comment is no surprise since you don't support
Dr Muscat. One thing he is a man of his word and
he is not scared of an interview with the Times.
Wonder why Gonzi never had an interview with the Times so
he can tell us about AUST,AG. Maybe then you can
Play judge and see who is lieing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and in the meantime drug traffickers trafficking drugs in the vicinity of a school go scott free. Now that is something that the love one's of drugs abuse and those who lost love one' s can go to sleep comfortably with. their only solace is that this case could have handled differently. Talking about adding salt to injury. Shame on Joseph Muscat.

Not necassarily. When much time passes it is difficult to recall details. If all were acting in hindsight, when all the proof was already eliminated by the perpetrators, then details may be foggy and taking action may be difficult. I still don't think Dr. Toni Abela did the right thing, but his actions may be understandable from certain points of view.

I must admit that i am impressed by Dr Muscat. He managed to develop a coherent mational plan full of pride and vision and a team that can deliver. That the PN tries to drag the election campaign to such lows further convinces me that Dr Muscat will lead us into a new prosperous era.

Watergate got Nixon to resign not because of what he did but because he lied.
This guy has lied about a drugs case in one of his own clubs.
All he needed to do in 2009 was report the case to the Police. Simple.
This guy didn't just lie. He's not fit to govern.

The fact that he said that he never lied is a lie in itself. He knew about the drug case and he denied knowing about it. He only admitted he knew because the PN publishes a letter which proved otherwise.

He said that he didn't have any information to go to the police with because he only had the word of a witness and he didn't want to testify in court. Stop watching NET Tv and hear the actual quotes instead of just repeating what biased media says.

Oh your're soo right...as if we haven't been hearing lies from PN governments for the past 25yrs!!! Lets see, they lied to: Hunters & trappers, taxi driver, public transport drivers, drydock workers, Ta'Qali crafts village shop owners, SeaMalta workers, Airmalta employees, Fishermen, about tax cuts, Oh Oh and about the €620 wage increase they took, about refunding that same increase etc etc etc

@ Antonio Pace very true he lies that he never lied. He forgot when he used to scream about the younger generation and drugs. Now it seems no one is talking about it anymore. Society is taking drugs as if there is no tomorrow and not only this but the lejber party seems to be covering it up. How times change!

Muscat did not kick out Dr T Abela, a deputy that he declared not to be fit to run as a LP candidate. But Muscat incongruously did kick out ( assassinated by back stabbing, to be precise) another LP stalwart as unfit to be a deputy leader but would Anglu Farrugia please stay on as a candidate for the election. Malta does not need such mavericks as ministers, let alone PMs
