A 30-year-old woman from Birżebbuġa was badly injured in a collision between a motorcycle she was riding on as a passenger and a car in Swieqi.

The police said the accident happened in St Andrew Road at about 6pm.

The Honda XL650 bike was driven by a 47-year-old man from Mġarr and driving the car, a Honda Civic, was a man, 21, from Pembroke.
