CAMILLERI. On February 13, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH, of Valletta and residing at Rabat, known as Ix-Xellugi, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Angela, his children Silvana and her husband Robert Okunsky, and Stephen, his brothers and sisters Carmelo, Alfred and his wife Pauline, Connie and her husband Emanuel Muscat, Twanny and his wife Mary, Maria, widow of his brother Godfrey and Karmena, widow of his brother Vincent, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei hospital today at 3pm for Ta’ Ġieżu church, Rabat, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Margherita cemetery, Rabat. DIMECH. On February 14, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA, of Valletta and residing at Tarxien, aged 94, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and remembered by her beloved niece Isabelle and her husband Godfrey Scicluna with whom she resided; her other nieces and nephews, among them Miriam and Marianne Buttigieg, Doris Scicluna, Maryrose and Dorothy Pavia, Frank and his brothers, and others residing in Canada and the US, their respective spouses and families, her sister-in-law Doris Dimech, cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for St Nicholas of Tolentino Agostinian Priory church, Tarxien, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. IWANIK. On February 1, Dr JANINA MARIA, née Tymieniecka, at Eastwood, Pretoria, South Africa, aged 78, after a long illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband Dr Jacek, her only son Krzysztof and his wife Sharyn, her grandchildren Marcus and Alain, Joseph and Isabel Tabone, family and friends in Malta, Poland and South Africa. The funeral took place on February 9 in Pretoria. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MALLIA. On February 14, CHARLES, aged 72, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital. She leaves to mourn her sudden loss her husband José Antonio, her parents Edwige and Frank, her in-laws Chica and Pepe, her uncle Roger and his wife Betty, her aunts, Margaret, wife of Joe Ellul Vincenti, Rose, wife of Louis Sapienza, and Helen Fabri, her uncle Joseph and his wife Angela, numerous relatives and friends.
