BRUNO OLIVIER. On February 11, FREDERICK, from Attard, went to meet the Risen Lord at the age of 90. Loved and remembered by his beloved wife Maud, his son Victor and wife Aida, his daughters Elizabeth and Graziella and her husband Damien, his nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 9am at St Mary’s parish church, Attard. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. MILLER. On February 8, HARRY of Żabbar, residing in Marsascala, aged 77, passed away at Mater Dei Hospital. He leaves to mourn his sudden loss his wife Tessie, his sons Brian and his wife Gemma, and Jesmond, his sister Carmen and brother Joseph, his grandchildren Kirsten and her husband Jonathan, and Brenton, family and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Our Lady of Divine Grace parish church, Żabbar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment in thefamily grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. ORR. On February 8, at Foothills Hospital, Calgary, Alberta, Canada, WILLIAM, aged 55, after a short illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Angela, widow of Vincent Cuschieri, his brother Joseph, his brother-in-law Carmel Mallia, widower of his sister Marika, his nieces and nephews, Patricia Cassar Torregiani, Suzanne and Darcy Smith, Lisa and Jamie Bhamra, David and Nicole Cuschieri, William and James Orr, his great nieces and nephews Mary, Addison, Callum and George, cousins, uncles and aunts, other relatives and friends. The funeral was held yesterday at the parish of St Michael’s Catholic Community, Calgary. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
SAMMUT. On February 10, at Mater Dei Hospital, AMANTE, widower of Lydia, née Conti, aged 95, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his only daughter Marisa and her husband Paul Catania, his grandchildren Gottfried and his wife Anna, Helga and her husband Sean Ebejer, Pierre Louis and his wife Laura, Angelique and her husband Kenneth Chircop, his great-grandchildren Matthew, Katie Lynn, Andrea, Sophia, Timothy, Kristina, Francesca, Martina and baby Benjamin, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on February 16 at 8.15am for Naxxar parish church, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.45am, followed by interment at Naxxar cemetery. Health and Beauty Fitness Spa of Victoria will be holding its annual fundraising open day on Friday.
