Tony Zarb files three libel cases

GWU General Secretary Tony Zarb had filed libel suits against PN Deputy leader Simon Busuttil, PN General Secretary Paul Borg Olivier and the head of the PN media, Nathaniel Attard.

The cases stem from recordings broadcast last week and comments made about them.

Mr Zarb said it had been falsely alleged that he was involved in corruption.

The Union always work for the best interest of all the workers so one have to be carful because the contractor will end up threatening to fire the workers if they speak out, and the Union if not representing those workers really can't do anything by law, it's up to the authorities that these contractors that win contracts from the Govt do abide by the law before they are eligible!
