The Malta Tourism Authority’s office in Germany has been awarded the tourism trophy Globus Award.
This was the third time in the past four years that the MTA office in Germany won the award.
This year, the office was ranked as Germany’s second best in terms of the service extended to the travel trade. Australia and Spain ranked first and third respectively.
Commenting on the award, the director of international marketing, Joe Galea, said: “We are very proud with this award because Malta has beaten off strong competition from a shortlist of some of the world’s most high-profile destinations.
“The award once more shows the great enthusiasm and commitment of our team in promoting Malta in the German market”.
The awards were organised by Touristik Aktuell, the top German national travel trade magazine.
