Boy hit by motorcycle

A 12-year-old boy is receiving hospital treatment after being hit by a motorcycle yesterday evening.

The incident happened at about 6.30 p.m. as the boy crossed Andrea Debono Street in Naxxar. The police described the boy's condition as grievous but not life-threatening.

Magistrate Ian Farrugia is leading a magisterial inquiry.
