Labour presents its local candidates
Labour leader Joseph Muscat yesterday presented his party’s 197 candidates who are contesting next month’s local elections. A quarter of the candidates are women, 40 per cent are first timers and 29 per cent are under 35. Dr Muscat said a Labour government would ensure that local councils are given a more of a say in representing their area.

First timers are a good idea but if they are as arrogant and old school like Ian Borg than PL might as well stay with someone like Alex Sciberras Trigona.
