• Today the Blood Donation Centre of the Gozo General Hospital will be open from 8.30am to 1pm for those wishing to donate blood and do not have the opportunity to do so during the week.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be said today at 6.15, 8.30, 10 and 11.15am and 5pm, followed by the recitation of the rosary and Eucharistic benediction.

• A carnival photographic exhibition by Tonio Schembri in aid of Puttinu Cares will be held at the Banca Giuratale, Victoria, between today and February 18. Opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 9am to noon.

• A fundraising bazaar in aid of Carolina Cauchi Home will be held at Lourdes Home, Għajnsielem, tomorrow and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8.30am to 5.15pm.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Saturday at 7pm.

• The Victoria Scout Group will be holding Founder’s Day dinner at its headquarters on Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets at €12 for adults and €5 for children, up to 12 years, are available from the Scouts headquarters on 2155 6497 or the Group Scout leader Lorrie Saliba on 7939 8928 until Wednesday.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at Our Lady of Mount Carmel church, Ta’ Hamet, on Saturday at 8pm, followed by Mass at midnight.
