Tribali’s album Festa has made it to the seventh best instrumental albums associated mostly to new age and world music.

The album is a collection of classic Tribali cuts from their earlier albums, previously only available in Malta.

Although ‘Festa’ was released digitally at all digital stores worldwide, including iTunes, Amazon and HMV, only a limited number of physical copies were produced. These were distributed locally and abroad.

The band’s album The Traveller has been awarded ‘Best Album of 2012’ at this year’s Malta Music Awards. This is the second album from Tribali to be awarded best album, making them one of the few local artists to have won best album consecutively.

Some members of the band are currently abroad on their yearly inspirational visits, exploring new ideas and musical cultures.

This year also brings about a change in line up – Nik, is the newest introduction to the band after Grigal decided to end his musical journey with Tribali.

The band has already started working with new sounds and instruments, and is committed to perform live, including at this year’s return of the Earth Garden.
