I have every respect for Heritage Malta and the valuable work the agency is doing to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of this country. However, I do have a complaint when it comes to certain temporary exhibitions of national interest.

For example, a recent exhibition was devoted to British cartoonist H.M. Bateman, who spent his last years in Gozo. I do not think that the Maltese public should have to pay to view such an exhibition.

Heritage Malta should realise that the public ought to have the opportunity to visit such exhibitions without however having to pay an entrance fee.
