The Malta Fairs and Convention Centre this evening denied claims by Malta Today this morning that it had approved a budget of €350,000 for the Nationalist Party’s electoral campaign.

In a statement signed by MFCC directors Nazzareno Vassallo, Christian Vassallo, Joseph Fenech, Gerald Borg, Ruben Caruana and Nadette Bugeja, and former diretor Jesmond Bondin, the company also denied that it wrote off debts of almost €1 million due by the Nationalist Party.

The company said that as a provider of conference events and venues, it has provided its services to a mix of companies and organisers, including political parties.
