Joseph Muscat given enthusiastic welcome at Junior College
Joseph Muscat got an enthusiastic welcome when he visited the Junior College this morning.
A large crowd of students chanted 'Joseph Joseph' and 'Taghna Lkoll' as he toured the school after giving a press conference on the PL's proposals on education outside the nearby Lyceum.
Dr Muscat told the students to quieten down, pointing out that they were in a school.
He also signed copies of his biography and had a short meeting with the principal before touring the labs and the library.

If any politician has education at heart they should address the present circumstances at Junior College. The amount of fights happening per day and weapons entering the school. No one is doing anything about this dangerous environment. My son was badly beaten up and had to leave the school last year because he was too afraid. It's a pity because he was very enthusiastic and had good marks.

Mr.Bartoli, I assume you don't know that pulse is NOT in any way associated with ANY political party. Don't students have the right to show their opinions? They shouldn't be judged whether pulse or sdm. There were students of all organisations that went to welcome Dr.Muscat yesterday. I think the problem you're dealing with is that you can't believe that so many students went to welcome him!

The Dejma and fabbrika tal-kappar were opportunities for the Maltese to earn a salary so they could feed their families. Unfortunately a year or two earlier these Maltese had to beg for food and money and even selling 'santi' under the Borg Olivier era. Again these aforementioned works kept the Maltese with their families instead of emigrating. Today we have early retirement schemes.

If you have weighed your options, reflected on how lucky you are to live in a prosperous country, and come to the conclusion that you will risk all this to vote for someone who looks more ‘youthful’, then there’s not much more to add. It’s your vote.

Do you,by any chance,know that even Gonzipn has admitted that it was he who reduced the nursing students' stipends and this resulted in a shortage of medical staff? Of course,he blamed somebody else for providing the wrong advice. Will he do the same thing again? It certainly was not Dr Muscat who did it.
