Recently, I was invited to attend the Mega Sports Awards Show at the Cottonera sports complex. This was a very successful and well organised event.

Hundreds of students from various schools in Malta attended this Sports Council event and the performance given by the BMX association was unbelievable.

The authorities should encourage and give full support to this group of riders to continue encouraging young riders to take up the BMX sport as a discipline.
