Man pleads not guilty to injuring officers
A 19-year-old Englishman who lives in Qala was granted bail after he pleaded not guilty to slightly injuring and threatening police officers.
Matthew Philip Bunting, 19, was also charged with violently resisting the officers and disobeying their orders, breaching the peace, being drunk in public and damaging a car belonging to a woman, who he slightly injured.
Mr Bunting pleaded not guilty to dangerously driving a car belonging to a third party without permission and without a licence and insurance, damaging that car, leaving the site of an accident he was involved in, driving at excessive speed and refusing to take a breathalyser test.

If the car belonged to the woman he injured who also happened to be in the car, then why is this an act of stealing?
'belonging to a third party without permission'
....without permission? She was in the car!

Its not a crime to refuse to take a breathalyser test but for the rest of he accusations he should have the book thrown at him if proven guilty -but he will probably get a mere slap on the wrist and told not to be such a naughty boy!

Failing to provide a sample of breath certainly is an arrestable offence in UK but can't speak for Malta. Seems strange if it isn't.

It's not a crime to refuse a breathalyser test, but if you do not it's assumed you are driving under the influence
