Nationalist Party deputy leader Simon Busuttil yesterday submitted his nomination as a candidate for the general election. He is contesting for the first time and will be standing on the ninth and 11th districts.

Dr. Simon Busuttil worked hard in Brussels but failed, despite his repeated appeals for ''Burden Sharing'' and ''Solidarity'' in the illegal immigration issue.
EU countries told him they don't want more illegal immigrants into their country.All-knowing Simon ended up looking decidely foolish.
So he came back...to try to fool the Maltese that he knows best what's good for them! How arrogant

Of course he is the first one. He is so thirsty to continue grappling with power. I do not know why he did not go to buy a bottle of champagne from a nearby shop in Valletta so that he can have a chat about politics !!!!!
