Justice, why should one fear wasting half their life for compensation?

1. openness, transparency, real freedom of information and whistleblower legislation
2. court reform to speed up judicial proceedings
3. true proportional representation across all of Malta, not only for the big 2 parties. Any party getting 1/65 of number 1s nationwide (about 1.5%) should get a seat in parliament.

Our leaders should both be talking about reduction of the national debt. This is a sword of Damocles over all our heads, and is the single most important factor which has caused austerity and loss of jobs in many Mediterranean countries. How will this huge debt be lowered? One cannot talk of job creation while at the same time increasing this debt, since in the long run this is unsustainable.

Our political leaders should talk about employment. Presently we have 153,000 fully employed that are registered.
PN had a success in the creation of jobs and this is the reality. And it's a must that at least we remain with the same situation. The Prime Minister said Let's Go For It which means Let's Go For Another 5 Years like the last 5 Years. This is what the youngsters are looking for.

No political party has so far talked about:
The high price of petrol for motorcars
The high price of domestic gas cylinders- competition ???
The quoted prices of shares & equities at the Borza, do not reflect the real free market value !!!!!!
Conflict of interests by various CEO and Chairpersons in government controlled entities. One example is the Malta enterprise case !!

I would like to know wether a salary of say €100,000 for a prime minister is a decent salary?
Can your journalists ask our politicians what would be a justified salary for a full time prime minister of a country with a two billion euro budget, when a CEO of a bank gets more than €120k ?
No rhetoric please.

As a parent what worries me the most is the coverup of drug abuse in a club. It cannot go as if nothing happened. Would this be a norm if there is a change in direction? Corruption is bad but for me drugs are a no go from wherever it comes.

One of the main tasks that both parties I think should include is projects for beaches!! They should implement or propose projects to enhance the beauty of our beaches. Example more facilities like showers etc...decor the beaches with palm trees and in certain areas introduce a bbq area. Of course such facilities one can include a small fee.

How to vote
1. Read what is happening abroad
2. Read how Malta fared and why
3. Compare the electoral manifesto of both parties
4. Vote using your brains not your heart.

re point 4 - unfortunately too many people in Malta support a political party in the same way they support a football team... maybe even more because many people can admit when their team plays badly! The people voting with their brains are a small minority.

Politicians should talk about:
Why about 60% of the Maltese have been crucified with the Utilities` savage bills and how to remedy the situation at the shortest time possible...
How to rid off corruption..
How to rid off Political Polorisation..
How to rid off Political Discrimination..

How can the PL use €63million EU funds earmarked for the gas pipeline for the LNG Terminal it’s proposing?
Will it renegotiate to get funds for this LNG Terminal?
How would a PL Government entice people to Install more PV panels if it is saying that electricity will be 25% cheaper and on a flat rate?
How would a PN government entice more people into using alternative energy?

Politicians should talk a world and a Malta that has changed. Bickering and 'you and them' are a thing of the past. The future is already here and unless we act fast will remain laggards.

I would like both parties to present detailed plans for our energy sector.
I also would like to know how our pension system is going to work.
I want to know wether any property taxes are in the pipeline.
Also wether taxes on investments are being considered.

both parties should speak why they should remove stipends and remove free health care for all.. It is irresponsible to act as if they do not know that these proposals are not sustainable. In three years time, whoever wins, will have to re think. Do they think all voters are idiots?

They are ignoring the country`s opposition to illegal immigration, as nothing is being done about it and the state of the roads which are a disgrace, and would rather spend money on dolling up roundabouts than fixing the potholes, subsidences, and rough stretches of roads such as the one by the shoreline leading to the old gas depot at Qajjenza and areas around Marsaxlokk.
