President George Abela inaugurates the exhibition From Bora Bora to Malta by Alain Despert at Auberge d’Italie, Valletta. Dr Abela also hosted the launch of Keith Sciberras’ book The Triumphant Manner (Midsea Books) at Verdala Palace to commemorate 400 years from the birth of Mattia Preti.
