MFSA warning on CIB Malta

CIB Malta, as depicted at www.cib-malta.eu/secured/index.html, appears to be a fraudulent website and is not authorised by the MFSA to provide any type of financial service, the regulator warned last week.

The MFSA has already issued public warning in February and September of last year over almost identical websites.

Investors and consumers of financial services should not enter into any financial services transaction unless they have made sure that the entity with whom they are dealing is licensed to provide such services from the MFSA or another reputable financial services regulator.
