Crimsonwing has been entrusted with the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning project at Nectar Group, a leading importer and distributer of food and beverages in Malta.

Since its inception in 1991, Nectar Group has introduced and marketed more than 40 brands, including products which have become household names. Nectar Group has grown to house five sales divisions.

For this project, Crimsonwing will be implementing the Dynamics AX solution, a powerful and agile ERP solution with rich and comprehensive functionality.

Crimsonwing is a Microsoft Gold Certified partner with many years of experience in the implementation and enhancement of the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform, both locally and internationally.

At Nectar, Crimsonwing is committed to implement a fully-fledged ERP solution, in-cluding accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, stock management and distribution.

Dynamics AX will replace the various legacy systems that Nectar Group operated until now, and will amalgamate all operations in one solution, reducing data duplication, errors and multiple efforts needed to maintain different systems.

Dynamics AX will present one homogenous interface to all users, resulting in reduced training costs for the adoption of the system.

A human resources module, incorporating a human resources portal, will also be implemented thus enabling the employees to directly access absence requests, updating of their personal records, and other related HR activities, hence minimising administrative work.
