It is unacceptable that the Nationalist and Labour Parties are resorting to a copycat game, promising to top up what the other is offering , AD chairman Michael Briguglio said.

He said this morning that such cheap electioneering was of disservice to the seriousness of the same issues, such as energy and education, as the election campaign was increasingly resembling a supermarket.

“Unlike PN and PL, who are promising everything to everyone, AD is putting forward responsible, progressive and sustainable proposals, also including proposals on how Government can sustain its public expenditure.

“AD's election in parliament will ensure that political debate is based on serious proposals, and not on shallow marketing,” he said.
