AD places culture high on its agenda
Alternattiva Demokratika is calling for more transparency in the devolution of money from the Just Causes Fund.
“Funds should be distributed in a more clear and transparent way and not centred only in certain districts,” said Arnold Cassola AD’s deputy chairman.
Prof. Cassola and AD chairman Michael Brigulio were addressing the media about the Green Party’s plans for culture.
They insisted that culture was being given priority in their electoral manifesto. Dr Briguglio, a rock musician, said that art and culture should be an inclusive process, that would aid everyone’s creative development.
They also called for the setting up of a cultural centre on a prominent site, which would include a museum of modern art and public library, together with a modern centre to house our national archives.

What a narrow interpretation of culture, AD's culture (or actually sub-culture)! Couldn't have been otherwise, coming from a pressure group which has renounced composite segments distinct to Maltese culture.

Nice. AD is really the only party with a full, solid manifesto that covers all bases. It's a shame a gimmick on free tablets get more attention than this story.
