Form 5 Physics students at St Ignatius College Boys’ Secondary School at Tal-Ħandaq, Qormi, recently conducted practical experiments on Electricity in the Home at the laboratories of Mcast’s Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The results will form part of the coursework the students are required to submit for their SEC (O level) Physics examinations.

The institute is working with teachers at several secondary schools to organise class visits to the college’s laboratories. Institute director John Sciberras said this collaboration enables secondary school students to benefit from the institute’s advanced hands-on learning resources during times when they are not being used by Mcast students.

More secondary school students are due to visit the institute’s laboratories in the coming weeks.
