Labour Party president Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi has visited the Muslim community, where he spoke on how Muslims should not suffer under any labels and should not be discriminated against.
The PL in a statement today said Dr Zrinzo Azzopardi visited the Mosque on Friday. He underlined Labour’s belief in religious freedom and also recalled how in the past, it was a Labour government which transferred the land for the building of the mosque.
He also reiterated that Mariam Albatool School would be supported by a Labour government and funds would be allocated to it in the Budget. A Labour governemnt would also back the expansion of the school.
