Joseph Chetcuti, 22 of Cospicua, admitted in court today to having stolen pigeons and some items worth €2,329.37 from a room in Tarxien on the night of December 8-9.

He also admitted causing damage not exceeding €1,164.69.

He was granted bail.

ADMITS STEALING FOOD

Also today, Sarah Zammit, 22, of no fixed address, admitted in court to having stolen food and other items from a property in Fgura over the past few months. The total value was of not more than €232.94.

She also admitted with not handing in her identity card when the address on it was no longer valid. 

The woman was remanded in custody.
