Well said, Mr Hilton. I drive a car and a motorcycle and also ride a bicycle. The fact that I am still alive is because I keep a 360 degree lookout. It's a car culture here in Malta. No other vehicle is accepted on the road-anything else is an unwanted intrusion, taking up precious car space. Many people do not realize that one more motorbike or bicycle means one less car on the road.

What about inconsiderate car drivers turning or overtaking without watching out for other traffic (apart from cars, that is)? Let's face it, it's a car culture here in Malta. No other vehicle is accepted on the road-anything else is an unwanted intrusion, taking up precious car space. Some people (most?) do not realize that one more motorbike or bicycle means one less car on the road.

Maybe she wanted to mean that there's a sort of fault i them. As a Vitz driver I must say I would not trade it for any other car myself so if that's the reason why she said what she said, I beg to differ.

Very true! On several occasions I have been faced with a car in the opposite direction overtaking the car in front - occupying half my lane!
I think it's common sense to look before you drive into another lane....at least, if I'm going to overtake that's what I do!

I have also witnessed alot of drivers overtaking in blind corners in that particular area, I think it's about time to send more police patroling that area
