ATTARD. On January 5, FRANCES, née Balzan, went to meet the Risen Lord, at the age of 71, comforted by the Holy Sacraments. She is mourned by her husband John, her son Maurice and his wife Bernadette, her daughter Charmaine and Manuel, her brothers Ernest, Victor, Joe and Walter together with their wives, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Anthony church, Kordin, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 2pm. After Mass, burial will take place at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Hospice Malta, will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
AZZOPARDI. On January 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, LILIAN, née Izzo, aged 65, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Edward, her brother Joseph and his wife Bernadette, her sister Connie and her husband Dr Godfrey Agius, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9am for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
MICELI. On January 3, in Toronto, JOSEPH, passed away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his great loss his wife Sandra, née Drury, his beloved son Kyle, his brother Carlo and his wife Vicky Miceli, his sisters Mariella and her husband Raymond Bonello and Catherine and her husband Stephen Carabott, his many relatives and friends in Canada and in Malta. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said at the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, St Julian’s, on January 12 at 8.30am. May he rest in peace.
SAMMUT. On January 8, at Mater Dei Hospital, ANGELO of Paola, aged 77, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Jane, his daughter Annabelle and her husband Eric, his brother and sisters, in-laws, family and friends.
