The Federazzjoni Maltija Vetturi Antiki (FMVA) is organising the Rabat to Rabat Vintage Motors Festival 2013, a two-stage event consisting of a time regularity run in Malta and Gozo and three rotating static shows in Gozo on Saturday January 19 and Sunday January 20.

The entry fee per vehicle for the regularity run will be of €15 for members and €25 for non-members. The rally is open to all pre-1977 vehicles but participants using pre-1940 vehicles will be getting a percentage reduction on their accumulated penalty points.

On Saturday all participants are to assemble at the car park opposite the Domus Romana in Rabat at 2 p.m. sharp. The first vehicle will leave the start at 2.31 p.m. There will be a half-way halt at Wied Iż-Żurrieq and the finish will be in Mellieħa at about 4 p.m.

On Sunday all participants are to be at Għajnsielem by 9 a.m. The first vehicle on the Regularity Run will leave the start at 10.01 a.m., the half way break will be located at Dwejra whilst the finish will be in Victoria (Gozo) car park. The first vehicle is due in at about noon.

Once all Regularity Run competitors reach the finish they will proceed in convoy to Nadur where they will join other members for a static show prior to the results being announced an hour later. An official presentation ceremony will follow.

Competitors leaving Rabat or Nadur early will incur penalty points or forfeit their free ferry ticket. This ticket will be valid for two calendar days hence participants can opt for an overnight stay.
