Arriva drivers were regularly receiving less money in their pay cheques than they were owed, the General Workers’ Union said yesterday.

It warned the company that a failure to sort out the payslip errors would lead the union to use “all the measures at its disposal” to protect Arriva workers.

A GWU statement spoke of the union’s “serious concern” about the computation errors, which, it said, had cropped up more than once, most recently on January 4.

Company promises to repay arrears in subsequent pay cheques had not yet materialised, the union said.
