Two held on suspicion of burglary
A man and a woman have been arrested and are being investigated by the police on suspicion of committing a burglary.
The police said they were informed at about 10 am that two people in a car were acting suspiciously at Ta’ Landrijiet, near Rabat.
The car was tracked down and the two - a 32 year-old man from Mellieha and a 33-year-old woman from Naxxar - were arrested.
The police said that according to preliminary investigations, the man had been seen making his way into a residence through a window while the woman waited outside in the car. The two then drove off.
