Two men, a woman and a baby were injured in a traffic accident at Triq Ghajn Tuffieha, St Paul’s Bay, at around 10.30am.

The police said a 23-year-old man from Marsascala was riding a Kawasaki Z 750 when he lost control and hit a family who happened to be walking in the area.

The bike then crashed into a wall and after into a Toyota Yaris that was being driven by a 38-year-old man from Mosta. He was not injured.

The family was made up of a 36-year-old woman, who was grievously injured, her baby, who suffered slight injuries, and a 32-year-old man whose condition is not yet known but is not in danger of losing his life.

The bike rider’s condition is also not yet known but he is not in a critical condition.
